Just a few steps from the Liège-Guillemins station, the architectural masterpiece from the artist Calatrava, a new Ibis Styles hotel welcomes its first visitors. As a reference shareholder, Ardent Invest, Ardent Group’s investment branch, created the ideal conditions for the development of a welcoming hotel with the Liège spirit.
Comfort and design at the heart of the Ardent City
With large bay windows that match the contemporary architecture of the neighborhood, Ibis Styles Liège Guillemins is the perfect base to discover the Ardent City from. The hotel has 102 modern and welcoming rooms with decor inspired by comics. With its trendy but relaxed terrace, Jack’s Bar offers a range of Belgian beers and cocktails with summer flavors. The hotel also has a gourmet boutique and a large fully equipped meeting room.
The 9th art in the spotlight
Open to creative minds, Ibis Styles offers decor inspired by the Belgian cartoon universe. Each room is decorated with an effigy of symbolic characters like Gaston, Spirou and Fantasio, or Natacha. The happy and colorful walls are decorated with speech bubbles with humorous and informative messages. A real plus in an area where culture is constantly in the spotlight, in particular thanks to the exhibitions at the Guillemins station and the Boverie museum.
A privileged location in a dynamic area
Located a few dozen meters from the impressive Liège-Guillemins train station, Ibis Styles is part of the Liège Office Center, a complex of more than 17,000 m² that is home to Ardent Group’s new offices. This mixed building, which brings together offices, businesses and apartments, enjoys a privileged location in an area being revitalized.
At 118 meters tall, the Paradise tower has dominated the area next to the Meuse and its river shuttles since 2015. The public space is harmoniously shared: pedestrians and cyclists can enjoy large spaces entirely dedicated to them, like the impressive Place Pierre Clerdent, the recently revamped Meuse quays and the Belle Liégeoise bridge that links Guillemins to the Boverie park. The area’s revitalization projects continue with the development of an eco-neighborhood and the arrival of the long-awaited tram that will pass by the new Guillemins esplanade.
